The Sullivan Community Education Foundation, established in 1994, is a non profit, tax-exempt organization that operates independently of the Sullivan School District Board of Education. It is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees made up of community, business and education leaders.

The SCEF mission is to promote and improve lifelong learning opportunities in our community and schools.

SCEF is dedicated to providing a tradition of caring that will benefit and strengthen our community and our children. We are doing this through our mission to promote and improve lifelong learning opportunities in our community and our schools. The SCEF has awarded over $250,000 in grants to the Sullivan School District and Community Agencies since 1995. This was accomplished without tax monies or funds from the school district. The SCEF relies on donations from individuals and businesses for a vast majority of their funds.
